Providing adults 60 years and older with the care, resources and tools to thrive!
Clinicians on our team have experience working with older adult specific concerns including chronic pain, isolation, grief and loss, dementia and other cognitive disorders, caregiving for dementia and cognitive disorders, hoarding, and end of life transitions.
Services for older adults at Jefferson Center are delivered through two teams.
- Older Adults Outpatient offers an outpatient level of care and longer-term therapy. We provide individual and group behavioral health services. Groups include, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Face the Mourning, and an anxiety clinic. We take any payors on including Medicare and private insurance.
- Hoarding Disorder services provide treatment for older adults struggling with Hoarding disorders. We offer individual and group courses where participants will learn techniques to regain control of collections and clutter in a private and judgment-free setting. We offer several levels of support in order to deepen and broaden skills to promote long term change. Hoarding specific services are for adults age 60+ living in Jefferson, Denver, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Broomfield, Adams or Arapahoe counties through funding support from DRCOG. The programs offer engagement in the larger breadth of Jefferson Center services to provide additional wrap around support and sustainability of quality of life. Our Older Adults Outpatient program offers in person services as well as telehealth options.
